I am a board-certified cardiologist , internist and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Lady Hardinge Medical College is my Alma mater. Leading our medical college to top in academics in all the three medical colleges of Delhi university in second professional was my most cherished moment there. I immigrated to US in 1977 and trained at New York Medical College, and Cook County Hospital (Chicago). I then practiced cardiology in US.
My neurologist husband and I chose to return to India as volunteers in 1989 helping establish a hospital in an impoverished Himalayan region that grew into a medical university. I served as Chief of Cardiology and Professor before returning to the US.
I am now retired and specialize in integrative medicine, combining modern cardiology with epigenetics and mind-body approaches. With over 35 years of experience in yoga therapy, Himalayan meditation, NLP, EFT, battlefield acupuncture, and hypnotherapy. I have led international wellness workshops. I look forward to share pearls and practical applications from this sojourn with my fellow Hardonians for empowering people toward optimal health along with medications and procedures. I hope to give back to my Alma Mater on the LHMCAANA Board by reaching out to fellow alumni in North America on th Outreach Committee.
