Anuradha SoiI am a Hardonian from the ’78 batch. I moved to the US in 1984. I did a Masters in Public Health from University of Texas in Houston, TX and a Pathology residency from Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown, PA where I practiced and raised my family. After 30 years, in 2015, I retired and moved to Alexandria VA and more recently to Pittsburgh PA to be close to my family.
Since I retired, I have been active in the Kiwanis Club, AAUW, fundraising for Breast Cancer with Avon 39 & Walking Warriors Battling Breast Cancer and in Jeevashram in Rajokri village, Haryana and have volunteered in adult literacy and ESL. I enjoy reading, travelling, knitting and my grandkids.
I have been a member of LHMCAANA since 2022. I attended the 1st Annual Gala in DC where I experienced the camaraderie and sisterhood and have also had joyful engagement with the LHMCAANA DMV group. I am excited to bring the same energy to the alumni in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas and to develop it into a close group with regular social gatherings and provide support to young Hardonians and new alumni in the area.
My Vision for the Book Worms Club is for its membership to grow and we have meaningful discussions on the books we read.
