Chitra Kuthiala

I joined Medical College in 1965.

I did my residency in Pediatrics at the University of Florida and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Then moved as Department Head of allergy and immunology at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, Ga. In 1991 I moved to Naval Hospital in Jacksonville to start Allergy Department for the Navy and retired in 2002 as a Captain. I was in private practice for the last 20 yrs and retired again 3 months ago.

I have received many teaching awards and Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal. I have done volunteer work for years with underprivileged asthma patients. I have served as a President of LHMCAANA.
