I am a gastroenterologist based in Norfolk, Virginia, where my work is driven by both clinical passion and a deep sense of purpose. As a proud alumna of Lady Hardinge Medical College, my connection to LHMCAANA goes far beyond professional membership — it is a reflection of genuine gratitude for an institution that shaped who I am as a physician and as a person. That sense of debt and belonging is something I carry with me, and I feel a real obligation to give back to this community with the same generosity that was extended to me.

Looking ahead, I am excited about deepening my contributions to gastroenterology, supporting and mentoring the next generation of South Asian women entering medicine, and taking on a more active role within LHMCAANA's mission — through education, advocacy, and the kind of community building that reminds us why we chose this path in the first place. I am energized by what lies ahead, and grateful to be part of a community that continues to inspire me.
