Neelam Kohli

My name is Neelam Kohli and by profession I’m an interior designer but my passion has always been music. It's my prayer, my meditation, my way of connecting with my soul.

I’m fascinated by the evolution of Hindi cinema—it’s music, it’s stars on screen and behind the screen— it’s story writers, composers, directors,—I feel it’s a living heritage which has impacted our lives in so many ways, many of which we may not even realize.

During the last 11 years, I have initiated several music groups Tarz, Surangini, Lutff, Divas and YDMM and done stage shows on leading film personalities. Recently, I’ve been honored to be invited to compere for LHMCAANA Melodies, and I’m truly impressed with the talent, enthusiasm and bonhomie in the group.

During the pandemic, music has become even more of a stress buster, and our online mehfil’s have helped us to literally sing our way through it with the ‘sound of music’.
