Reshma Hingorani

Dr. Reshma Hingorani is a Psychiatrist and Wholistic Wellness Consultant practicing in the Washington, D.C. area, with nearly three decades of distinguished service in senior positions with the Government of India.

A gold medalist and recipient of multiple awards, she brings a rare breadth of expertise to her work—having originally trained as an Obstetrician & Gynecologist before expanding her focus to mental health, wholistic wellness, and lifestyle medicine.

An alumna of Lady Hardinge Medical College (1981) and Maulana Azad Medical College (Postgraduate), Dr. Reshma is also a certified International Wellness Coach, a published multilingual poet and writer, and holds a Diploma in Urdu. Her work uniquely blends clinical insight with creativity, culture, and compassion.

A passionate musicologist trained in the percussion instrument Tabla, she conducts workshops on Indian Classical Music alongside her wellness programs, integrating rhythm, reflection, and resilience.

Dr. Reshma lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with her husband, Dr. Sajeev Anand, a Hematologist-Oncologist. They are blessed with three children and five grandchildren. Dr. Reshma leads the virtual meetings envisioned by LHMCAANA with the goal of engaging alumni all over North America - especially those who are in remote locations where in person meetings are not feasible.
