Shweta Mehta

Dr. Shweta Mehta completed her FRCPath and specialist training in Chemical Pathology from the United Kingdom. She attained Masters in Clinical Biochemistry from King’s College, London and Masters in Diabetes from Cardiff University, UK.

She holds FRCPC in Medical Biochemistry from Canada. She works as a specialist in metabolic disorders at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario. She holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at McMaster University, and is Clinical faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine.

Dr. Mehta has special interest in management of obesity, lipid disorders and CVD risk modification in patients with serious mental illness.

LHMCAANA is a lively hub bursting with joy, where our alumni rally, uplift one another, and ripple that strength outward to communities globally. On the CME committee, I envision working with other members to continue organizing high calibre CMEs in EVENTOPIA, incorporate online CME platforms on our website to enable our busy alumni to effortlessly access high quality learning from anywhere, and develop CME sessions on trips for people travelling the world in the Globe trotters group.
