As a proud LHMC graduate from the class of 1984, it is my honor to contribute to this esteemed group and give back to the community. Currently, I work in a Geriatric Private practice – Geriatric Center of Tulsa – emphasizing person-centered, outcome-oriented, and function-focused care for the elderly. My goals of care rest on the quality of life as desired by the elderly. All staff practice shared decision-making at every encounter. The practice has focused on patients in Long-Term care since 2019.
Having attended the Eventopia 2024 in Chicago, I reconnected with my LH tribe. I felt rejuvenated, nostalgic, and rekindled. Not only did we meet and greet, but we also had fun in the skit the entire weekend, reveling in happiness and drawing back in time. Yet the future was not forgotten. Efforts by Alums helping other younger Alums were touching and inspirational. Purpose-driven donations were heartwarming. Having seen that, I was moved and committed to join this effort to promote all that was already in motion and build on the existing momentum. I see myself adding value to mission-driven endeavors and, of course, fun-driven goofiness. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to the growth and success of LHMCAANA. I am excited to work to strengthen our community and outreach in bringing together Hardonians all across Canada. Residing in Tulsa, OK, I aspire to build robust connections and collaborate closely with the rest of the Southwest region to foster a meaningful network.
