I joined LHMC in 1963 graduating in 1967. I am a pediatric neurologist who got into learning & teaching clinical hypnosis in the early nineties. I’m now a consultant in clinical hypnosis and want to spread the word about it far and wide as I believe it is a very powerful tool for everyone to be able to give a helping hand to our body to do its healing job even better.
I was able to generate interest about Self Hypnosis among the LHMCAANA members and I have given several sessions to the members on self hypnosis.
I have watched this group grow and metamorphose into a Meditation group which is not only part of our culture but is much needed for our minds and soul. Going forward I envision this group to be more into spirituality. While I started interest in Self Hypnosis among the LHMCAANA members, I subscribe to spirituality too. There also appears to be interest in understanding ancient scriptures like Upanishads. Priti Kapoor is doing a good job, if we can have volunteers to share the work with Priti, it would be even better.
I would love for the group to plan trips to ashrams in US and India.
Through this journey it would be wonderful for us to get a strong sense of a healing faith that we can impart to our patients to give them the strength to go through the trials of life.
I’ve also been spiritual and at times a bit clairvoyant - some of my dreams have come true
