I joined LHMC in 1981, and after a circuitous path via Northern Ireland, I arrived in the USA in 1993 and undertook a Residency in Internal Medicine followed by a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Philadelphia. I started my practice of Oncology with the Georgia Oncology specialists and have been with them ever since. I also attend the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute in Atlanta, GA. I enjoy my practice and have a teaching appointment as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia. I also serve as a Physician Preceptor at the Morehouse School of Medicine, Augusta, Georgia. In addition, I am the Director of Clinical Laboratories at the Douglasville Office, Georgia Cancer Specialists, Atlanta, Georgia. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine and the ABIM Medical Oncology and hold a Georgia Composite Medical Board Physician License.
I am a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCM), American Physicians of Indian Origin (APII), Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian origin (GAPI) and now a patron member of LHMCAANA. I wish LHMCAANA to grow and bring us all Hardonians together and make our Alma Mater proud of its alums.
