Celebrating, Supporting, and Empowering Women Physicians

Dr. Passey

After graduating from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, India in December 1970 and completing my one year internship, I left India for Canada in June 1972. I worked in Winnipeg, Canada, at the Victoria General Hospital until May 1973 and migrated to the United States in June 1973. I have lived in the Worcester, Massachusetts, area ever since. After finishing my Pediatric Residency at Worcester City Hospital and a Fellowship in Ambulatory Pediatrics at Worcester’s Memorial Hospital, I started my private Pediatric Practice in Worcester on July 16, 1978. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and am a Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. I became a naturalized Citizen of the United States in April 1982. In June 1975 I married my wife Carolyn. We have three children - Michael a (an attorney in Washington, DC), Katelyn (a nurse practitioner in San Diego, California), Sean (a banker in Rochester, NY), and seven grandsons (ranging from 18 years to 6 years). My wife and I live in Holden, Massachusetts and just celebrated our 46th wedding Anniversary.
