I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 1996, I got a govt scholarship to join Lady Hardinge Medical College. In 2004, I did post graduation in Nuclear Medicine from Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences( INMAS). I came to the USA in 2007 along with my husband and did my residency in Nuclear Medicine from Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. At present I am the section chief of Nuclear Medicine of a private Radiology group - South Hub Radiology and work at Advocate Christ Medical Center. I live in Burr RIdge, a southwest suburb of Chicago along with my husband and daughter.
I decided to become a part of LHMCAANA because I feel that -if there is one family that I truly belong to, it's my ALMA MATER. I believe in the philosophy of "learn, earn and return''. So, this is my way of strengthening the bond between me and "The Hardonian sisterhood".
