I joined LHMC in 1979 and graduated in 1983, thereafter, I did my MD in Community Medicine from AIIMS.
My husband and I came to Pittsfield, MA in 1992, with our 4 year old. I chose to stay at home to take care of my two children, after I had my second child, in the following year; years flew by so fast. I did my MPH in 2000. I have been working since 2011 with Cancer Research Projects, as a Clinical Data Coordinator.
I love taking care of my family and feel blessed that I was there for my loved ones, when they needed a near and dear one, to care for. I love to read, music is what I breathe, and pouring down thoughts is my passion.
I intend to enjoy myself humming away in “yet to learn ABCs of music” mode and have fun sharing with others in the group.
I am thankful to the LHMCAANA Melodies Group, which enables one to enjoy music, enrich with knowledge of music and hopefully motivate self to learn. I feel privileged to manage Mehfils for the LHMCAANA Melodies and envision the warmth in the large group to bring the group together for common good and perhaps consider giving back to our Alma Mater.
I am also part of the Book Club where I manage the calendar and this group is smaller but is encouraging us to read books we may not have otherwise read and is likely to broaden our horizons joyfully.
