Radha Ramarutham

My name is Radha Ramarutham. I am a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Series, Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics/Palliative Care, University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

I am triple both certified in the US in the field of internal medicine, geriatric medicine, hospice medical director board certification. Back at home I had done post graduation in anesthesiology and worked as a senior resident for three years before moving to US. After a troubled marriage I came to US and brought up my child single-handedly and I’m a proud mother and a successful doctor.

I have an interest in music and can actually sing even though I’m not professionally trained. I take a lot of pride in my work and after running a successful practice and working as an independent contractor as a hospitalist for several years, currently I am working as an academic hospitalist at the veterans hospital and enjoy teaching internal medicine residents and students.

I also serve as a medical director for various institutions. I love to travel. I have one son who is an interventional radiologist and is in acting program Director how do university hospital in Utah and my daughter-in-law is an ophthalmologist.

I am co leading the LHMCAANA Globe Trotters Group and i look forward to organizing fun trips for the Alumni Organization.
