Sudha R GuptaI joined Lady Hardinge Medical College in 1970 and moved to Chicago in 1976. After completing residencies in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurology, I practiced academic Neurology at Loyola University, Chicago, and VA Hospital at Hines, Illinois. In addition to clinical Neurology, I was actively involved in scientific research and community service in the Chicago area. My research work has been published in multiple scientific journals, and I presented my work at various local and national meetings. I retired from Neurology in 2011. After retirement, I learned acupuncture and volunteered as a medical acupuncturist for chronic pain management at Hines VA Hospital till June 2020. I have been studying Vedanta since 1995. I published “Srimad Bhagavad Gita, as I understand” in 2018. I also posted a small booklet, “Timeless Wisdom from Learned Minds,” this year. I live with my husband, Ashutosh Gupta, a nephrologist, in Oak Brook, IL. We have two daughters and four grandchildren. I thank all the dedicated LHMC graduates for rejuvenating LHMCAANA in the last three years. I encourage more and more LHMC graduates to become patron members to help continue the noble mission of LHMCAANA for a long time. |
