Sugandha Agarwal

I am a proud Lady Hardinge Alumnus (1998-2003), an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist by training, mother of two lovely daughters, married to two nations – India-Canada, eternal learner, and a spirited woman.

Joining the motherhood clan, raising two strong minded daughters, advancing my professional skills with training in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, clinical and research fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology and Advanced Obstetrics, contributing to academic literature with close to 15 peer reviewed publications and 20 national as well as international presentations, are some of my welcomed accomplishments. In a new chapter in my life, I am working towards diversifying my portfolio in health sector through furthering my training in alternate pathways. I recently completed a Diploma course in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Innovation from Queen’s University and currently working in the Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance section at GSK, Canada.

My Vision

Other than knowing the why’s and how’s behind anything that interests me, I derive pleasure in giving my best to the cause that I am vested in. Associated with LHMCAANA, I am a member of the social committee and successfully running the “Happy Feet Hardonians” group with well attended weekly fitness sessions. I also held the position of Cultural secretary for the Hardinge batch of ‘98 and was an active team member for organizing the college festivals.

My goal with the Executive committee is to be able to walk in small steps to achieve a larger success of bridging the Indian and North American societies, create feasible and sustainable give back programs to support the current students as well as the Hardinge community in areas of identified need.
